Welcome to Canmore Counselling! We invite you to book a session or consultation with any of our counsellors below. If you don’t see a time that works for you, or if you’d like support choosing a counsellor, please email us at connect@canmorecounselling.com. When contacting us, you may share which counsellor you feel drawn to working with. You can learn more about our team on our website.

Location: 109-705 10th St, Canmore. We are located on the main floor of Mistaya Place, beside Communitea and Vermelho Hair Salon.

Waitlist: The waitlist is available for current clients only, who are requesting an earlier appointment time with their counsellor.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide more than 48 hours’ notice so the time can be offered to someone else. Changes or cancellations within 48 hours may result in a fee up to the full cost of the session, at your counsellor’s discretion.

I am a practicum student in the Master of Psychology Counselling program at Yorkville University, under the supervision of Dr. Melissa Jay, Director of Canmore Counselling and a Registered Psychologist. I am deeply committed to holistic wellness and community care. Dr. Miousse is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Alberta. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Université de Sherbrooke and speaks French and English.

Whether you’re new to counselling or have prior experience, I strive to ensure the process centers around your unique hopes and needs. I believe that counselling fosters an authentic relationship with your whole self, enriching every aspect of your life that you value. My practice is trauma-informed, rooted in humanistic traditions, Relational-Cultural Theory (RCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which together emphasize resilience, self-compassion, and psychological flexibility.
